Pre-made Book Cover Design - 'SMOULDERING JACK'

You will receive a full exclusive design by me. Front, spine and back cover print-ready files to upload to your preferred printer and an invoice for your records.
I don’t supply my working .PSD files.

My design includes typography and any additional image placement (logos, bio photos) if supplied. Considering different fonts and sizes work with different letters and title and author lengths, I have not included any sample text on the cover images.

Please supply all text you wish to have on your cover, and a template or the specifications of your book (height, width, spine width, bleed, barcode/ISBN size) in cm or mm.

I will send you updates and screenshots of your cover via email for your consideration. As I have various chronic illnesses that can be unpredictable, I'm unfortunately unable to supply a solid timeframe. Completion could be between a few days to a few weeks.

My images for this cover are original studio photographs and all elements within (smoke, colours, subject, blur, background, etc.) are real and created in camera – No stock images or stock elements. It is a rotting pumpkin that I grew in my garden (from harvested pumpkin seeds from the previous Halloween), carved, stuffed with leaves and set on fire. I used RGB lighting, hence the blue tones and the enhanced orange/brown tones.

I’m strongly against the use of generative AI and refuse to create covers for any work that is produced with AI or that intends to be used for machine learning. My work is 100% human crafted and is not permitted to be used for machine learning.

For an additional cost, I’m happy to create a set of promotional images sized for your social media if you require. ($15 per promo image, capped at 5 images.)

After your book is published, I would love a contributor copy of your book to promote, display and read.

Ingram is currently a preferred printer for my book designs as I have found that Amazon printers are very limited in colour range when it has come to the gradients within the types of colour photographs using RGB lighting in camera – They have a tendency to print with a reduced range of gradient and occasionally print spines and internal images skewed. It is important to note as readers tend to judge a book by its cover, quality of the binding and printing before they take the time to read your work.
